UROP Final Reporting
With the completion of your student project, a short report and dissemination at a relevant conference are required.
Reports for equipment proposals should include a web link to any press releases that offered readers glimpses.
This page provides instructions on developing and submitting your final report.
Students should prepare and submit a 2-3 page report on their UROP project. The following sections should be included:
- Project cover page with project title, student name, mentor name, college or university name, project dates.
- A brief summary of the project, timeline, and the results,
- A discussion of accomplishments, and any notable challenges,
- The how, where, and when of the dissemination of your project,
- A reflective statement on your UROP experience.
- Any photos of you with your gear or working on the project would be appreciated.
Please realize that the report will be read by a non-expert audience. We thank you in advance as your reporting will assist us in tuning the program.
We may elect to share excerpts of your report to provide examples of the program. Let us know if you prefer staying anonymous.
UROP Equipment reports should follow a similar framework, but could be shortened in length. Where and when a press release was posted, and how any matching dollars were used as a complement to the effort to host and sustain undergraduate research at your campus.
